I've been doing allot of research into LED grow lights as i only have a very small space to grow in and heat is a big issue, as well as power consumption.

Anyways, I've been looking at 90w UFOs and they all seem to have different configurations of red, blue, orange and white light.

What combination and ratio is best for growing our favorite herb?

so far it seems the best combination is a majority of 660nm red, some 630nm red, some 460nm blue (perhaps a little bit of 430nm blue) and a teeny bit of white (though some sources say orange is best?).

I could be completely wrong here, and even if right im not sure on the ratio.

so, i guess my question is, with the option of any combination of 90 1w LEDs in a UFO configuration, what configuration, selection and ratio of different wavelength LEDs is best? I'm looking for something that will give optimum end results in a minimal time frame from seed to harvest using 1 light.

I look forward to hearing everyones point of view on this as it seems there are allot of LED growers on these forums
