Hi!
I never start what will be outdoor plants indoors. I feel that outdoor plants need to acclimate to the conditions as soon as possible. Yes, it's a little more difficult to monitor the seedlings, but worth it in the long run. My girls were started in May in light shade and were in full sun within 3 wks. I've found that (at least for me) this gets them readyfor the harsher conditions. I live in the Southwest. We've had temps in the high 90's for the last two months. They are growing fine. Every plant has ideal temp. humidity, and Ph requirements. This Ideal is pretty much unattainable outdoors. Growing in harsher conditions means you pretty much have to accept a normal range rather than trying to hit the exact mark with every parameter...Good Luck...BB
