Is it too hot this year?!?!

    Hi!
I never start what will be outdoor plants indoors. I feel that outdoor plants need to acclimate to the conditions as soon as possible. Yes, it's a little more difficult to monitor the seedlings, but worth it in the long run. My girls were started in May in light shade and were in full sun within 3 wks. I've found that (at least for me) this gets them readyfor the harsher conditions. I live in the Southwest. We've had temps in the high 90's for the last two months. They are growing fine. Every plant has ideal temp. humidity, and Ph requirements. This Ideal is pretty much unattainable outdoors. Growing in harsher conditions means you pretty much have to accept a normal range rather than trying to hit the exact mark with every parameter...Good Luck...BB
BosqueBoy Reviewed by BosqueBoy on . Is it too hot this year?!?! Everytime i go check my plants they look like they are in sleep mode... instead of the leaves fanning out, they all kinda droop down. is this because therye not getting enough water? Its been really hot this year and i was wondering if anyone else had this problem, also im a noob at outdoor growing. this is the first year i got a few plants to grow over 3 feet tall. sorry to say two of them are males, and i think the other one is female because it has no ball sacks yet, and little calyx looking Rating: 5

in the intense heat you should water everyday in some cases. If they are to young bring them out of the intense sun or put a screen on top to filter some sun out

i saw someone said dont take off leaves! normally i would agree, but if the leaves are dying they are doing you no good! leaves do help the growth acting as solar panels but if they are dead alls they are doing id blocking the light to the leaves that need it
