looks to me like this law firm is trying to gather some patients for their clients and mile high normal hasn't bothered to do some fact checking.

What the hell is this? as of August 1st, if you are a medical marijuana patient and you have a personal caregiver and it is not a medical marijuana center, then you must submit a new "Change of Caregiver" form and it needs to be done by ASAP to be considered a valid patient, so this weekend, Sunday August 1, 2010, Mile High NORML and Colorad...o NORML are hosting a â??Find a Primary Medical Marijuana Centerâ?� party. Releaf, I agree with you there, but the statement that is posted on FB that says " you must submit a new caregiver form asap to be considered a valid patient" is bogus as I see it. I have not read that anywhere and I think that is information that is misleading to many patients in order to get them to designate a Center as their caregiver. I thought NORML chapters would be more informed thannthat. If I am wrong than I apologize, but I still have not read this " requirement " anywhere and I feel it is a ruse to get patients under the umbrella of a MMC, while that is fine, patients sure have that choice, the post makes it sound as if it is required, and that my friend does not appear to be the truth.

Agreed. I think it's a way to get people back with centers who had previously registered them as a caregiver, since that paperwork is no longer valid. Saying you need that to be a valid patient is something I haven't heard ANYTHING on.
