24/7 vs 18/6
Besides electrical cost, what are the benefits to a 18/6 light cycle as opposed to 24/7 constant light? I was always under the impression that more light = more growth = more buds... why rob the plant of 6 hours of light?

It gives the plant that natural cycle, there is no scientific evidence this helps anything in cannabis, as 24/0 seems to produce more growth. I always veg under 24 hour light. some plants need dark to do things, but cannabis is not one of them.

From what I have researched, cannabis is a light demanding plant that doesn't need a dark period, until it is to be flowered.

So from what everyone is saying I see no reason to give it 6 hours of darkness during veg. I want my plant to grow as much as possible in the 8-10 weeks I am vegging so as of now I will do 24/0 unless someone can explain why 18/6 would be better...

If you can control the heat & watering 24/7 there is no reason it can't be better.
over 10 weeks you are giving about 3 - 4 weeks more light to your plants.
