Having watched str8 and Weezard grows I think that this would be a good match for LED grows. I have purchased a
Haight Solid State PPF-800 LED Grow light
190W LED Grow Light
31 - 6W wide beam LEDs
Red, blue and white LEDs for a complete full spectrum
Which I just took out of the box to take the pic I cannot wait to see how it works. I will be doing my own tests on led vs MH. I believe that most fail for a couple of reasons with LEDs as both str8 and Weez have mentioned before. Less is more with LEDs and do not buy cheap 1watt lights they do not penetrate and for the same reason keep the canopy low through scrogging and topping. I need to buy one more for both veg and flower then I will test against a Multi spectrum bulb and compare on my own so that I know no marketing is involved. I just cant wait.
Just a kinda related rant. Hope no one minds and actually finds it interesting.personified Reviewed by personified on . Aquaponics In Nov we vote on MMJ in Az and until then I am resisting the urge to be an illegal grower. As a child we always did gardening never thought much of it until the MMJ scene. As I do research and read every ones grows I realized I will need to practice if I intend to have a good first grow. So I am teaching myself through growing lettuce, bell peppers, and tomatoes. I have one tomato plant in a combination of hydroton and coir which seems to be going smooth. I can see that dirt is easier Rating: 5
