    Roots flowing into Res.

    I am running an Areoponics with top feed. My problems is that roots are flowing from my 4" tube thru drain and dangling in resivour. Is this ok should I cut them off I am worried about roots see light.

    Roots flowing into Res.

    The only thing you should be worried about is if the roots plug up the drain, or make it run much slower, thereby overflowing your tray.

    You may well be able to trim roots as much as 1/3. I've trimmed....no complaints.
    Just try not to leave dead stuff behind.

    the main thing is to make sure they don't get in the pump,because that gives rotten matrl. and plugs things.

    the worst is wicking leaks, trimming works but can slow flowering

    the solution is less veg time or go to BUCKETS

    thanks for the advice everbody. I will keep check to make sure they don't clog my drain. I had to veg a little longer then I wonted to due to the clones. When I rec them they had not a root showing and had some issue had to use root concentrate in with nuits to get them established.:stoned:
