Large Pot Grow Operation Found In Pacific

PACIFIC, Wash. -- An officer serving a warrant at a home in Pacific found a large pot grow operation instead, said the Pacific Police Department.

The officer was looking for a suspect at a home in the 100 block of Homer Lane around 8 a.m. Thursday. When no one answered, the officer found an open door and went inside the home looking for the man, police said.

Once the officer entered, he found the indoor grow operation.

Officers said they have confiscated about 155 marijuana plants, some ready for harvest and others in various growth stages from seedlings to nearly mature. They also said the growers had drilled through walls, wired grow lights and had carbon dioxide tanks for the plants.

One man in the home was arrested, but he was not the original man police were looking for.

Police said they are executing search warrants on the home.

if cops are in your house you better be able to show your lawyer a broken door lock, or a warrant, and typically, both.

If you are going to grow, you better not have warrants or other charges hanging over your head. And until the law changes, stay within the parameters according to your condition and how you medicate. i.e. smoke it or eat it. :thumbsup:

yes. even though it should be legal for ANYONE who wants to grow it (its just a damn plant, its not like we CREATED it, like legal drugs/alcohol), this doesnt make us mmj users/growers look to good, but in who's oppinions? do you realy care if other people who love mj are growing it like crazy?- i realy do not, i say more power to ya. its just that if its still considered illegal by law, you might want to figure out a safer way to ensure you dont end up in jail for it. i honestly think that everyone should be aloud to grow as many plants as they want, the government should not be able to decide what we do with our lives, if we are not harming anyone whats it realy hurting? so i kinda feel like, yes this guy messed up, but its not like he should be imprisoned for it, cause its like "OMG HE'S GROWING DOPE". if your ignorant of reality and cant think for yourself then yes you will freak out and say something like this or that he deserves it. but if your like us, you know that EVERYONE(and i mean that as in a variety of people) in todays times are using/growing it, and its not a big deal anymore. you know its not because you actualy have experience with mj and know that it doesnt cause "Reefer madness" and that its actualy the most harmless drug on earth to use. sorry to drag on so much, i just hate the way the earth is ran by the dumbest people of our race. a group of people should not be able to decide what it best for the ENTIRE PLANET. what land of the free?- wheres the intelligent, logical thinkers in this so called "free world"? if were so "free", why is it "one" mans job to decide what right and wrong for everyone. is anyone following me?
