i got a vapir the plug-in handheld one. it's a different cain to smoking your shit, more like a speed cain, you don't wanna sit an' goof you wanna party!!!
BUT unlike a jay it takes about 20mins to get to the right temp etc. and not half as enjoyable as a smoke, as it's NOT actually smoke,just your tricnomes. they feel like little cold pin pricks on your lungs sometimes. you DO get a good taste of your gear but only for the first few pulls,where as every time you pull on a jay you burn new shit each time so it still tastes pretty good all the way down-ish.
in my (humble) opinion the vapourizers are ok if it's the only way you can smoke it, if say, your lungs are fucked from years of abuse?trouble is A. you gotta have electrickery b. takes too long to set up-when you just need a hit and c. kinda takes all the ritual out of the whole process. ok for a change/novelty, just like palm leaf pipes. agent blue types,chillums,bongs etc. and all that guff.( and yes, i've bought them all in the past-all in the back of a drawer somewhere around).
so- YES they work if you got the time-are healthier but not at all satisfying.
