Republicans Throw America Under the Bus for Political Gain

Actually I have a big problem with the socialists stealing our childrens future in an unconstitutional and quite selfish "I want your money, and I want it now" approach.
Currently, my wife and I pull in under $20,000 a year, and I laugh at those that tell me what I must be thinking and why I'm thinking it. Insight from the clueless isn't insight.

We saw the same garbage politics back when Carter fucked the military, economy and America's foreign policy, and recognize this bullshit pulled by the left. (did you know the big thing back in the Carter era was man-made global cooling...?)

Just another bullshit excuse to socialize and tax the wealthy. Do you know who pays those taxes the wealthy are hit with...? HINT: the wealthy protect themselves by raising the prices of their products and services, and lay-off the workforce till the conservatives correct the democrat tax-n-spend policies. They (the wealthy and the small business woners alike) never see the hit taxation presents them. Their taxes are imbeded in the price you pay for everything from nutrients to fuel, from Tonka Trucks to bulldozers, from cosmetics to caskets. So tell me how me paying for those taxes in everything we purchase is helping my family survive on the basics? Tell me how it helps employees keep their jobs.

    Kool-Aid politics.

Here is another article that provides a concise summary and adds more information about the ongoing role of FreedomWorks.

These people are pretty twisted. They are attempting to redirect public anger away from the bankers and AIG executive types who crashed our economy and towards programs that support the middle class. How noble.

I was watching PBS the other evening and to paraphrase it in the olden days when TV's were expensive TV shows could be edgy and intelligent because they were so expensive only wealthier better educated folks could watch. They had to cater to the audience.

Fox caters to an entirely different level of folks and they're good at it.

Yes, we can definitely agree on that. However, these are the choices we have right now. So I have to assess which party best represents the national interest. Although my income is sufficient to justify supporting the Republican brand on purely mercenary grounds, I most often vote Democrat because they better represent the values and interests that will move this country forward. Given a broader range of choices, I would be far far less likely to vote Democrat.

Donâ??t tell me we didn't need a change in our health-care system when insurance companies were denying people who had "pre-existing conditions" and putting their prices up too high. Donâ??t say that we arenâ??t aiming towards global worming with the continued partnership the republican have with oil companies when we can be exploring new cleaner energy to avoid future catastrophes. If you don't believe in global warming, there's too much evidence out there hardly any scientist will deny it now. I believe you right wingers donâ??t care about others but your selfâ??s, you people will leave a jobless old man to die just because you believe that he isnâ??t worth the money. Why didnâ??t you "right-wingers" complain when bush was wasting money on going to war or making tax-cuts for the rich? huh..? thats what I thought.

Let me paint a clearer picture for you so-called right wingers of the future if these republicans get their way.

    Many frightening facts

    My two cents
we should be aiming towards acquiring better standards of living as a whole. I don't believe that following the republican agenda or doctrines that follow corporate interest is going to offer the American people a life of prosperity because they always will want to control the masses for the wealthy.

Amen to that brother. People these days don't believe government can do anything for them. In reality they affect everything that revolves in our lives. i understand this untrusting attitude stemming from the past republican presidents actions such as the Bush corruption scheme to win the office in middle elections by marking innocent African Americans as felons so their vote won't be counted (THIS WAS PROVEN!!) or Richard Nixon lying about Watergate.

I will admit Clinton did have a drug organization before he went in to office, but he was a popular president that was loved by many for having the American interest. Which republican has been remembered for his generosity or good policies? The only one I can think of is Lincoln, but the democratic and republican agenda has changed vastly today.

oh, yea. I almost forgot republicans started the war on drugs and where are we now because of it?

Oh well wait a second. Republican presidents are remembered precisely for the good policies and generosity... by the top 5% wealth holders (for dog-ball-sweat waiting to pull the trigger on that comment, note I am talking about the top 5% of wealth holders, not income earners). The rest of America gets screwed. When anything approaching a populous bill is introduced it is shouted down as being part of a socialist, communist agenda. No problem bailing out the banks, the insurance companies, and the car makers. That's not socialism... but when it comes to helping struggling home owners at the losing end of these policies all of a sudden we start hearing about the "moral hazard" and socialism. Truly pathetic. How working class Americans think for a second that Republicans represent their interests in beyond me.

But let's not go too far. We have been mightily let down by the Democrats as well who also serve the same master. They are the flip side of same coin really. They are are just a bit more equitable is all. I'd prefer to see a real third party in this country. Obviously that will only come about if there is a shit fight to reform election financing. Doesn't look likely from where I sit. Corporate America and the top 5% of wealth holders will never let that happen.

The two party system surely has been stained. No doubt, the majority of politicians are sellouts, but people should at least be considering some proposals that benefit people entirely not just companies. We never had a president like Obama, I still see him with skepticism but looking at his policies and what he has presented so far, I believe he has the people's interest in mind.
However, these republicans don't even consider or look at his proposals and keep criticizing him for what he said he was going to do when he ran.
All in All, we should be having people in charge who have the people before profit mentality. I know itâ??s impossible to see who has it but seeing the republican mission statement, it's a for sure thing they don't have it.
