I know what you mean. I really lucked into getting some clones of the REAL Green Crack. I have 4 now, 2 of which I plan on growing into outdoor mothers. The only way I could get seeds is if I crossbred it. I don't plan on doing that as it is perfectly stable just the way it is.

As for its other Monikers, the only other one I can truly vouge for is Dream Queen. That is what it is called in the Bay Area, CA for a fact.

6ft x 6ft is what I was thinking, at about 8ft high. I would hang the light up horizontally. Does that seem like an optimal grow space for a 1000w? Any second opinions?

I have been around the block and grown quite a few strains since, and nothing has replaced it yet.

I'm not saying that you can't get seeds of it, but if someone is selling them via the seedbanks, it's almost surely a backcross with something else. Clones have been floating around Cali for years, so if you pick up clones, odds are you may be getting the real deal.
I have heard that before. Out of all of the names I have heard around here, I am most skeptical about Space Queen and Green Cush. I have seen those 2 strains at the Cannabis Club I go to labeled seperatley from the Dream Queen which I know to be Green Crack. This makes me think it is either an entirley different strain, or a crossbreed of the original Green Crack. I will have to ask next time I go in to Harborside Heath Center.

With that kind of space you really should consider a horizontal cooltube. You would be growin' trees in there.

    Update:

As Day 7 closes out, things are starting to really come together. Out of 12 clones, only 1 failed to successfully transplant itself into its new medium.

The light bleaching seemed to cease for now. I only seemed to have an issue with it when they were adjusting to their new tempetures. Since their initial breakout, it hasn't gotten any worse.

My only question this week is about the branching on the White Widow. The arms to the fan leaves are really purple, is that normal for this strain? I see it a little bit in the OG Kush, and not at all in the Green Crack.

And here is an update on my outdoor babies. My Green Crack twins at 4 Weeks.

    Update:

I picked up yet another clone today. I got a solo cutting of some UK Cheese. It is just over a week behind the others, so it will get sent into flowering a little sooner than I would like it to.

I trimmed a few feet of ducting off of the exhaust fan and repositioned the ballast. This turned out to do me wonders as it dropped temps from a consistent 82 down to a consistent 77 with the lights on.

Other than the fact that I am growing 4 different strains that were all started at 4 different times in a 3 x 3 1/2 closet, i'd say things are going well. Very uneven canopies and such are slightly annoying me. My Widows are ready to go 12/12, but the Green Crack, OG Kush, & UK Cheese are not. They still need more time, meanwhile the Widows are getting too big for the space they have... Ugh. I might just take the UK Cheese outside and then go 12/12 with the others.

    Any suggestions?

    Update:

Got some new equipment today. I bought a 4 in 1 soil tester. I use it to check PH levels, Soil dampness, and water tempature.

PH levels = 4.0 - 4.5 on all plants, Indoor & Outdoor. Way too low!

Soil Dampness = Too wet. Apparently I have been watering too often because it is holding lots of water.

Water Temp = 48 Degrees. I'm thinking that is too cold because it is turning the soil into a clay-like texture. I will start giving them room tempature water and see how that goes.

So apparently I have been doing a few things wrong, but that is ok. I am a fast learner.

I also picked up a digital timer for my light/ballast, so far that has been working great. I also picked up a x100 pocket microscope for trichome inspecting.

Im thinking PH up is the obvious way to fix my PH problem. Any tips on using that?

Add all your nutes to the water before you test for pH. Then add pH up or down as needed. You just have to use a few drops from a dropper from my experience. But you will need to experiment on a gallon to figure out you number of drops. 6.5 is a good range to stay in. Your plants do look a little to lime green but that could be due to lighting. Other then that they look good.

Thanks for the tips. I will give PH Up a try and then post another update at a later time.

As for the outdoor Green Crack, they are deffinatley lime/neon green. I am not sure if it is the strain or the light, but judging by their much darker indoor counterparts i'd say it is the lighting.
