Ok, I found out that the pest were slugs. About 35 which I just launched into the lake near my plant for the fish to feed on. They really tore apart some of the bottom leaves pretty good, and I am going to all the precautions to take, Copper Wiring around base, salt around base, eggshells, etc. Also using soapy pesticide. The only thing I am wondering is if I should either let the eaten plants stay on and look bad, or would it benefit the plant if I cut the leaves at where they meet the stem...To cut or not to cut.
Bataleon420 Reviewed by Bataleon420 on . Plants being destroyed. Will they recover ? Quick Question... I have had these plants growing since late april, early may, and within the last couple days, the lower 50% of my plant has been chewed up but what I assume are crickets. I have some insecticidal soap which I am waiting until a day or two to use due to big storms coming this way, but what I wanted to know is if they will recover. They still have well over a month until they will begin flowering judging by the light in my location, and I have heard that if a plant has a attack Rating: 5
