This is a month old and nobody's touched it, but somebody has to. This kind of shit can't be allowed to just slip through the cracks.

HSUS investigators recently attended several bear baiting events in South Carolina. What they found will shock you. The Humane Society of the United States : The Humane Society of the United States..

A captive bear -- claws and many teeth cut down or removed -- is tied up and abused for hours. The S.C. Department of Natural Resources gives permits to people who release teams of dogs to harass and bite terrified, defenseless bears.

Please sign the petition The Humane Society of the United States : The Humane Society of the United States.. asking the South Carolina DNR to revoke possession permits from anyone who uses bears in these cruel spectacles, and inspect all captive bears to ensure they are not used for bear baiting. Thank you.
