weed before surgery

hey ive been smoking everynight for the past month now and i am about to have surgery on my wrist tomorow. Not that big of a deal only have a cyst which is connected to a ligement. i was wondering if it was ok and safe to smoke tonight. Im not getting completely stoned or anything just getting a little high. i am getting anethestia(or however u spell it) tomorow but im only gonna be down for about 30min. I was just wondering if it would be safe to smoke and if it would be dangerous the night before my surgery i know im not supposed to eat or drink but im not sure if weed would be a problem or not

I think it would be irresponsible for anyone to tell you, " Yeah, go for it!", when it comes to a medical procedure. I doubt anything would go wrong, but I personally wouldn't do it. You never know what kind of reaction your body could have when you combine anesthesia with anything.

Then again, I might not be the best person to give an opinion on the topic. I've had a horrible reaction to anesthesia before.

thanks but i did it anyway and i was fine the surgery went perfect and there was no problems i probably wouldnt recomend it though cause some ppl react to anthestia differently

I have a question about the cyst now. Is it on the inside of your wrist? On the side of your hand where your thumb is? 'Cause I have a litte bump in that area and I'm beginning to wonder if it's a cyst. It kinda makes my hand ache at times.

Well my cyst was on my right hand in the middle of my wrist it was inside connected to a legiment but it causes a bump on the area tht its located. i had it before but had it drained. It came back about a couple weeks ago and i went to the doctors and he told me since it cam bac i probably should get surgery on it. I never had any headaces with it though. My advice would be just go to the doctors and tell him its bothering you. If it is a cyst he probably give you options on what to do about it. I hope it all works out for you man
