I just bought a portable vaporizer.....

It's not a matter of taking anything personal. It's a matter of exposing false information. MOSTLY yahoos and kids is false. Blatantly so. All one has to do is spend about 10 minutes there and it is plainly obvious. The demographics on that site is older and better educated than just about any cannabis site on the net.

I'm 66 years old and believe me, I wouldn't be suggesting that ANYONE visit that site for vaporizer information if they were mostly kids and yahoos. I would have absolutly no reason to do that.

What is also false, is your feeling that most of those in that Iolite thread are nothing but negative reviews. There are many positive reviews there as well on the Iolite.

You have a real skewed look at things, man, and personally, I could care less. What I do care about though, is providing to those that are looking for quality and comprehensive information about vaporizers, a place to find that information, and the fact remains that there is no better place in the internet to get that info than at FC. THAT is a fact and if you know of a better place to get that info, than post it up here, because I am not aware of it.

But I'm done with this. People can judge for themselves. All I am doing is suggesting that they do.

calm down boys....this was supposed to be a lighthearted thread! I have always been a doobie girl so I am very impressed with how much I am enjoying my vaporizer! Iolite is a very good brand....I've done my research and am very happy with my purchase. Yeah, moody. I just had to challenge that slam regarding FC. It's just such a great resource for vape info, that I wanted to make sure that no one gets turned off by some of the statements made above until they had a chance to experience it for themselves.

Regarding portable vapes, you are correct in that the Iolite is a very good vape.

For others that may be reading this thread and are considering the purchase of a portable, there are a few others to consider that are both below and above the price points of the Iolite:

The LaunchBox by Magic Flight
The VaporGenie
The Essential VAAAPP
and the Volatizer VM3

Along with the Iolite, all 5 of these portables are very good vapes and each deserve a look to see if they fit ones particular vaporizer needs. They each have their pros and cons, and each do certain things really well, much like the better home vapes on the market, and just goes to further prove that there is no one best vape for everyone.

Just noticed that Volatizer's warranty is now only 90 days, so take it off of the list above. My feeling is that if a vape manufacturer does not have enough faith in their product to offer a decent warranty, than we shouldn't have enough faith in their product to buy it.

I wasn't upset and I thought I was being lighthearted. Guess I'm sorta twisted or sumtin, heheh. Apparently old grumpy tiger there sees himself as the guardian of FC and is prone to gettin his panties in a bunch.

I REALLY do like my iolite too. I bought it at the THC Expose in LA back in April and I use it all the time. I got a pretty good price too. I think it was 175. Did you pay the full price? I hear the company is coming out with a new vape in the next few months. Maybe I should go check out FC and see if they have any info on it yet, lol. Better yet, maybe old tiger will do us another copy and paste and get us up to speed. How 'bout it tiger???
