Topping / Pruning plants
Is it true that if you cut the little baby leaves just coming in that you will get more buds? so what exactly is it? and how do you do it?

Topping / Pruning plants
its called FIM and involves pinching off the top little leaves, but only do after 3 set of leaves or more, what it actualy does is make the top main colar split into 2 main collars, but dont be fooled, most strains will just produce 2 smaller tops rather than one big one, this can be repeted to produce lots of splits on one plant, but can be quite good if your limited to hight space.

Also good if you are growing under a scrog. See this tutorial for a detailed overview of all stress training techniques. Cannabis Training (ScrOG, SoG, FIM, Supercrop, LST, etc)

hello
I have a female that is flowering right now -
it was "topped" 3 different times, all while growing in the veg. cycle and was left to rest for 2 weeks between toppings and also for 2 weeks before switching to flowering.
Topping works great to help fill in a canopy like a bush by creating numerous "main tops" or "central colas"
In my opinion it allows a grower to really maximize their grow because it allows the light source to be closer to the actual bud sites and seems to reduce the "stretch" in flowering.
peace
