Am I On The Right Track
I have always grew clones in soil this is my first grow in hydro. My plants started from seed back on July 1st. I placed them into the buckets two days ago. Today I notice the round leafs that first develop are turning yellow and drying out, the rest of the plant look good, is this normal.
Also any opinions on how they look would be great. One of the plants tips started to yellow, so I added 1/4 strength nuts to both of them when I moved them into the bucket.
Thanks in advance.ELEL95 Reviewed by ELEL95 on . Am I On The Right Track I have always grew clones in soil this is my first grow in hydro. My plants started from seed back on July 1st. The yelowing is most likely lack of Nitrogen and pretty much is a normal thing. Allot of peeps use the rule of no nute till the 4th set of true leaves comes out but you should be fine. They look real good atm just watch the PH, that is crucial right now as plant is extremely fragile.
BTW what kind of nutes are you going to use??

You guys have been a lot of help. I am using GH Flora Nova. I added about a 1/4 strength to each bucket. I was just concerned about the round started leaves that yellowed and look like they are drying out. In the first pic you can see the leaves they are curling up but are almost falling off today.
Thanks a hell of a lot guys

Dont worry... they look great.
Those little round leaves normally dry up and die. They store the energy needed for the seedling to start to grow. So when the energy is used up they dry up. Normal.
Keep up the good work.

The leaves you are concerned about aren't really true leaves (as GToD said) they are about the same as baby teeth, they are there to get the ball rolling but whaen the true leaves come out the temps have to go
