Do female plants EVER create little balls at the nodes. Balls on a string (thats what they look like)?

OK, I know these pictures are blurry forgive my poor little camera (she wants new batteries)....but to describe it, I'm seeing two little green bubble looking things grow at 3 different nodes on my plant (these pictures are all the same node, though)...they are yet very little, and I don't want to rule out the possibility of female parts growing from the little bulbs, but do you guys think I'm seeing male bulbs there?
