Yes On Prop 19 Campaign
Hello everyone, my name is Rich and I am the director of the Yes On Prop 19 campaign for California's Regulate, Control, and Tax Cannabis Act of 2010. The point of this post is to gain the help and support I need to keep this campaign rolling.
I hope to be backed by this community and find the support I need here to keep this campaign moving. There is no other time than now that we need your help & support. If California can pass this proposition it will create a domino effect throughout the states and set an example for the benefits of taxing marijuana.
I'm gearing to have an official thread stickied on these forums that will explain the campaign with details; which will also cover on how YOU can play your part. I am working with the admins to get it setup; it will cover everything you need to know. Till then, feel free to contact me via PM system to learn how you can contribute. We are in great need of volunteers and donations, this is what keeps this campaign moving forward. The good thing is that you don't need to live in California to help, there is something you can do to help no matter where you stay.
Lets make history.

Yes On Prop 19 Campaign
Welcome Richard! Good luck! :greenthumb:
One suggestion I thought of the other day is that we need to correct the media when it suggests that this Prop's main purpose is to legalize "recreational use". While that is true, I think a much better description of its main purpose is that it legalizes over the counter medical use. Adults will be able to use medically without the need for a doctors rec or to be on any kind of list or database that could come back to haunt them. To me, that is the real value that Prop 19 will bring to the consumer.

^ oh yeah, and according to RAND, the price will drop to an estimated $38/oz ($91/oz with estimated tax added). That is another huge value for the consumer. Not so great for the pot profiteers, whom I suspect will be the main opposition to the prop. :twocents:

Yes On Prop 19 Campaign
The passing of prop 19 will be good for everyone- those who ingest cannabis and those who do not. It will help to pull the rug out beneath many of the criminal predators who currently inhabit the black market in cannabis; and THAT'S good for EVERYONE (Except the thugs of course). Also, very importantly, it will help to keep cannabis out of the hands of children.
