    My First Grow: NEED HELP!!!!

If you can reduce the length to half or less than that, I think you would gain extra horsepower out of your fan(s) resulting in some lower temps. If you can replace the flexible to whats called 'warm air pipe', using as little bends as possible ....that would be much better. The best you will be able to do is about 10F above the ambient temperatures being pulled in. That means if you're pulling in fresh air at 75F, then you should expect about 85F in your grow space.

    So far so good. No problems with anything yet. Grow room temp at its highest is 82 degrees, and 75 at its lowest. Part of the problem was not having the exhaust fan ducting air tight. I fixed that problem and introduced the plants to their new home. I got the temps just right because it cooled the light, and adding the water cooled plants increased the humidity as well. I will keep your ideas in mind if my temps go back up. Thanks for all the help guys.... pics coming later today.

My grow closet seems to peak at about 86 Degrees with the light on, give or take a few degrees depending on the daily weather. Is this suitable for a growing enviornment? A full list of equipment and specs is available below this post.

    Equipment:

    * 1,000 Watt HPS Sun System, by: Sunlight Supply, Inc.
    * 1,000 Watt Interchangeable Ballast, by: Lumitek. (1,000w/750w/600w) -Running at 600 Watts-
    * 6? inch Centrifugal Fan, by: ValuLine (X2) Cold Air in / Hot Air Out
    * 6? inch x 24? inch Carbon Filter by: Phresh Filters
    * 25ft of 6?? inch Ducting
    * 3 Gallon Pots (10-12) W/ Catch Plates
    * Soil
    * Nutrients
    * 10-12 Clones from Cannabis Club.

    Closet Space: 3ft x 3 1/2ft with about 3ft of vertical grow room. Both cool air intake and hot air exhaust are fed down through the hatch underneath the house where they are sent in different directions.

    I pay up to 15 dollars a piece for each clone. I need to make sure there are no mistakes that will cause them to fail. Will 10-12 Sativa clones be ok in an 86 degree tempature with a humidity level around 38-40&?

    Thanks in advance.
    chang your light to a 400-600w hps and your temp will be good

    you might have to just spend the cash on a fan cooled light cover
