Is he using your recommendation to grow plants for you?

ie: is he in possession of your 60 day supply of plants on your behalf?
justpics Reviewed by justpics on . cargiver questions.HELP I have a cargiver right now who i designated my cargiver, who i am temporaly trying out......What is the average price i should be paying per oz. for my MMJ from him?? I smoke 3-4 oz per month to treat my illness...I live in the Vancouver area...Just would like to make sure i am still getting a fair deal. Is there any cargivers in the vancouver Area with an opening for another MMJ pateint?? hoping the community will help me here ,since we all know how much are money means to us,since there is Rating: 5

where do I find my messages? I didn't know you could PM on this board to be honest.

A patient can only be a designated provider for 1 person at any one time. So this guy can not be legally growing plants on your behalf, and also be growing plants on another patient's behalf. Not at the same time.

My advice to you would be to keep paying him whatever it is he wants until you can either figure out how to grow yourself (5 small plants, 5 larger vegging plants and 5 flowering plants in a perpetual means you harvest 1 plan every 12 days, if you smoke 2 grams a day you'd need less than 1 ounce per plant to meet your needs, very easy to do), or find a provider who will give you 1-2 ounces per month in exchange for the 15 plants you are allowing that person to posses and grow on your behalf.

If someone can possess 15 plants on your behalf, that means if they do that simple 5-5-5 with your 15, they get 1 plant harvested every 12 days, that's more than 2 plants a month. For you to ask for 2 ounces per month (once they start harvesting) is only 1 ounce per plant. With 10 vegging plants (5 small 5 larger) the person has twice the time to veg the plant as they do to flower it. That means with an 8 week flower time they've got 16 weeks to veg. A plant that has been vegging out for 4 months (including clone time) can yield several times 1 ounce. Depending on strain, some people may get 5 ounces or more from a plant of that age. For you to request only 1 of those ounces from a plant which is a part of YOUR 60 day supply is reasonable.

If you are paying $240 or less, and getting quality as you grow your own is par for the course. Its what I've been paying and sure beats the hell out of $50 an eight. And the way it is with the LEOs right now, unless you know some one you won't get much more information then what you get here. There may be a co-operative happening in Vancouver soon, but people are laying and staying low. Had I-1068 made the ballot, things would be a little more open. Hang in there.

It sounds like you're doing ok. You should be able to get top shelf quality for $200 an ounce from your care giver. As a general rule they sell to you at wholesale prices and any material over what you need, he sells to a dispensary. Its something you need to discuss with any grower. My feeling is that if he's a quality grower he can give you 2 ounces a month and sell the rest to dispensaries to cover there costs. But every grower is different.
He should be able to let you see the grow unless he's growing for more than one person and he's worried about being busted.
