pherinomes for prevention ?

I had a major caterpillar problem last year with an outdoor grow. Once the caterpillars chewed on plant bud rot set in, because of extreme wet conditions at the time.I lost well over half my plants in 3 days. This year I am growing a few lowryder for kicks. Yesterday I found a caterpillar in one of these plants and a small bud rot spot because of rains the last few days, the first we have had in 5 weeks. I took a photo of caterpillar and local Ag agent identified as a corn-earworm. i know local farmers use baited pheirnome traps to catch moths before laying their eggs in crops. Is it possible the smell of cannabis is familiar to moths as a pherinome ? I plan on purcasing some traps ASAP they will be either scentry or hercon. Any feed back from some of you chemist or biologist woul be appreciated

just go down to your local grow shop and buy some SAFER CATAPILLAR KILLER WITH BT.IT TAKES A COUPLE DAYS BUT U WONT C THEM ANYMORE AND IT WONT HARM YOUR PLANTS AND WONT TASTE IT
