I am going to get rid of the foil. I am growing in hydro no soil. I am just not sure if my roots are long enough to place in a 5 gallon bucket or not, and how much hyrdroton to place at the base?

I have not had any roots pop out the bottom but the roots that are coming out the side of the stg cube hang about 1/4inch past the bottom of the cube. The cubes they are in were probably cut to long, they are about 3inches tall. My question is are they ready to go into the buckets yet and how much hydroton should I place on the bottom of the net pot. I am using DWC, 5 gallon black buckets my Rating: 5
