if you use a venturi make sure you have plenty of water to cool the electric motor. i have made the mistake of running a venturi with no buffer and water heats a lot. i would use airpumps in that scenario. use like 3 double outlet air pumps with different grade diffuser fittings and 1 just weighted with an open end so large bubbles can blast out and churn the solution.

i always bought 100 ' extra airline so i could put the airpumps in a cool location and draw in that cool air to cool the system. you should be running at about 69-70 degrees f for optimal stress reduct and DO levels; you can get an aquarium thermometer cheap.
