    My girl, advice please...

This is my first grow. Here is my girl at six weeks from seed and one week into flower. She was just some really good bag seed. I know I need more light, rigging up another pair of cfl's this weekend. She is already getting nice flowers and I have a fan on her to strengthen her up. She is 3.5 feet and showing mostly sativa. She has also stopped stretching so much and is making tons of hairs on the flowers. She showed her sex at five weeks into veg so I figured it was a good time to start flowering. Any suggestions for a first time grower at this point? She is in organic soil with perlite, organic 5 ferts before flower, and has a ton of space for root. Any suggestion to kepp her going and beef her up?

    Aloha laphter

    Not too shabby for sativa.

    You gave yourself da tip.
    More light, way more light!
2700K would be good for flowering.

Then, if the soil is good, and there's enough of it, she'll pork right up.

    Aloha,

Absolutely more light for the sativas. More and more. Lots of red, lots of blue, as little green and yellow as possible.

Awesome, thanks for the advice. She has been doing pretty good on the five 42/150 watt cfl's and two 40 watt t12's up through veg. I just want to make sure that I can get all those nice flowers popping up as big and dense as possible. I am definitely doing a budget grow, but want to do it the best I can. I read the budget lighting guide on here and it really helped through veg. I was going to put two more cfl's on a splitter and hang them down this weekend. With the 42/150 watt cfl's at 2600 lumens, how many would be enough to really produce in flower? I can hang those things at any angle which is kind of cool, but the mrs says I can get a nice light setup for the second grow. I think she's getting into this as much as I am and that always helps  heck, she gave me her basement closet.

I suggest you take the T12 lights and run those vertically on opposite sides of the plants if you have two individual units, that will go a LONG way to helping get those bottom sites lit up for better yield.

Thanks for all the info on this site, and all the personal tips given to posts. Here is my girls main cola at 10 days flower. I put more lights on her and have been feeding her Neptune's Harvest 2-4-1 fish fertilizer. The seed was from a bag of Diesel and she is looking and smelling every bit of it. How are the buds looking for 10 days flower? Sorry about the sideways pic

Sorry, I'm a little medicated. She's actually 12 days flower, thanks for the reply. I am going to re-veg her after harvest and make her a mother. She has been a beast from seed, almost four feet now, any advice on re-vegging and making a mom out of this lady?
