If they're still pretty small(seedlings) put them in separate pots, if they're too big then the roots are intertwined and they're too late to separate. To force flower you simply make sure they are put in a dark area (has to be 100% dark, not just shaded) for 12 hours a night. When you do this depends on how big you want them to get. Remember that during flowering they will grow another 1-3 feet. Do this until they are finished(usually 8-10 weeks or until half the hairs on the pistils turn brown). If you really want to be accurate as to when you should harvest, get a 60x scope and when the trichomes or little mushroom-like glands on the plants are half milky-colored and half amber you harvest.
