first time subing...passed with ease

i figured i would share my experience with everyone. this forum was a great help. i did a lot of research prior to my test (for employment) and found most of the answers to any questions i had right on here.
a friend of mine has his cdl and is radomly tested so i knew his sample would be clean as a wistle. i had him pee for me the night before in a bottle and when i got home i put the sample in a ziplock bag which was then put into another zip lock back. i then closed the bag almost completely and pushed out all the air before finally closing it. the sample was then put in the refrigerator over nite.
the next day i put the sample in an old saline solution bottle which was about 3 ounces. (i only used about half of the sample). next i filled a red solo cup with really hot water and placed the sample in so that i could be warmed up. earlier in the week i went to walmart and bought a digital thermometer (cost about $3) and an ace bandage. i made sure the temp was pretty high (over 100F) i made sure to do all this about 20 minutes before i left for the test. once the sample was at an acceptable temp i then attached it to my leg (right next to my junk) with the ace bandage. now i made sure that by the time i got to the lab that the sample was still about 100 degrees with my digital thermometer. you want to make sure its pretty warm because youll probaly have to sit in the waiting room for 15-20 minutes before the test. now i was kind of nervous after the test because the thermometer on the cup was not showing any type of reading on it. i made sure to save some of the sample after and ill explain why in a moment. i gave the technician the sample and was sent on my way. now the reason i saved some of the sample was because i wanted to test it after to make sure it was still within the right temp range where i could not see a tempurature on the speciman cup. needless to say once i was done and i tested it in my car the sample was still 95 degrees. sorry for kind of rambling on but i hope this helps some people out.:thumbsup:
