    The Law and 6 Plants...

I was recently told that if you are growing more than 1 plant in a container, then it is considered only 1 plant according to the law because it shares the same root system.

    Is this true?

I am growing 3 plants in 6 kitty litter containers, 18 total.

No. Plants in the same pot share the pot, not the root system. Your growing 18 plants

They are sharing the same container, not the same root system. With that logic I could grow 100 plants in my back yard right next to each other and make the same claim you are.

Grafting 3-4 different strains to one plant is one plant with one root system but 4 strains growing from it.....totally legal:thumbsup:

I fully expect to start seeing more and more grafting & airlayering here in CO as it's really the only way 1 patient can grow multiple strains and still stay within legal limits.

I'm actually surprised there hasn't been more questions on technique and more grow journals on it but maybe it's still early yet.

Should be interesting what happens in the next couple of months.

Iʻve just started reading up on grafting; and have a buddy from Vancouver, BC that has extensive experience with Grafting strains. Heʻll be out here for the month of Nov, hopefully I can pick his brain regarding this issue!!
