    The Law and 6 Plants...

Grafting other flowers is a very common pratice by green houses. Alot of roses are grafted. Like the other person said i too expect to see this more common in the near future. I am actually going to try it myself. Once i learn how LOL

I did have a MMC in the springs tell me the other day the 3 veg 3 flowering no longer applys. He swears his lawyer has investigated it and says its true when i questioned him on it. I almost laughed cause i dont beleive him. I sure aint going to be the test case to find out. You can flower all six at once just as long as you dont go over the 2 ounce limit if you wanted. So they said.

I've heard this as well, but only for MMC's. Since they are no longer caregivers, they follow the rules according to 1284, not A20. 1284 makes no reference to the number in veg/flower. If I were a private grower I'd be more cautious.

Cool thanks for clarifying that. Honestly this guy is going to get some one in trouble by telling patients that grow what he told me.

From the "inspections" of personal grows, it seems the po-po is more concerned by the number. I am not saying not to follow the 3/3, but when they stopped by my place. They checked my paperwork, counted my plants, and asked about my electrical setup. Luckily I didn't have any clone clippings, as I'm not sure how those would of been counted. My paperwork & count was all in order. My electrical setup was done by a licensed electrician and I explained to them what was done, also showed them the overkill I had done with surge protectors. I also keep several fire extinguishers around both inside & outside the room. Smoke detectors also installed both inside & out.

Their "visit" lasted about 20 mins., maybe 30. I have since gotten more & larger carbon filter cans as I think one of my neighbors might of been the one who reported me.

Long story short - I don't think they are so worried about flower vs veg, as they are about the total number and safety issues. But the law is the law, and it clearly states 3/3.

Nice that you posted this about the inspection. I didnt ever think about the wiring being some thing the cops would concern them selves with.

Could it have been your electrician that turned you in? or was he a close friend that did it? I could see this happening after they get their money from you. How long after you hired him did the raid happen?

I think they are just now starting to become more concerned as it can pose a serious fire hazard (and gives them another reason to shut one's grow down)

Nyah it wasn't the electrician. It was a good 6-8 months after he finished the job. My last harvest was stinky-inky and with the heat this summer I was trying to keep things as cool as possible, venting to the outside (with just an older scrubber). I thought I could smell it outside but didn't think it was too bad, though my sense of smell might of been desensitized a bit to it. So I'm loading up on the carbon filters and building a custom scrubber box, also going to be venting through the roof instead of a window.

If the police and your neighbors already know you are operating a legal grow, why not spend the money on lights and electricity instead? There's less reason for legal growers to invest so heavily in technologies that hide their grows. Why bother with filtering at all, or moving the vent? Thieves could still be a problem, depending on where you live, I suppose, but the cops won't be.

discretion is still a good thing. an un-filtered grow is SO OBVIOUS.

Never thought of it that way, but still prefer to keep things as low-key as possible. Moving the vent to the spot where I had originally had planned it as I never like venting through a window. It's also a space issue for the room. Having the fan & ductwork in the room itself gets in the way.

Bingo! This was another area of concern as I live in residential neighborhood. We have had a few car break-ins and some tagging but as far as I know no residential break-ins. But why advertise.
