I just got out of the Army (medically retired) (physically disabled) and I was stationed in Colorado. While there I got my MMJ card and had a dispensary that was my caregiver. After doing some research I found that my colorado card is also good in RI. I am curently staying in NY, so RI is much closer than CO. I stocked up before I left CO but am now out and suffering! Are there dispensaries in RI or just Caregivers? Also, can I use my Colorado card there without a RI state ID? I do have my military ID by the way. Just curious because I dont want to have to go all the way back to CO to get medical grade cannabis.

BTW Im not asking anything about transporting across state lines!! I wanted to make that clear.

My only question is if I can use my Colorado card in RI without a RI state ID?

as I have read the laws your card will work and be legal if your condition is approved in RI as well as CO

Your card protects you from arrest as long as you have less that two and one half ounces in RI. The problem is, u have no legal way to get meds unless another patient in RI gifts some to you.

Not yet. Maybe first one by end of year. Even than u would be SOL because laws states you must be connected to it through the health department which requires an RI MMJ lic.
