    Reps hidden e-mail addies

Damn. I was going to ask the person running in my district in Washington for representative what their position was on medical cannabis. To e-mail them, you have to give your address and zip code. Bullshit. If I want to ask anonymously, I should be able to. Why don't the chickens post their e-mail addresses? Well, if any of your aides are reading this site should know, strike one. I'm looking more and more for a good third party candidate who doesn't hide their contact information so you can question them anonymously. Make a person think more and more they always hide the truth. :smokin:

I do understand, but the other side of the coin is the need to be able to be sure we don't have a wacko who is going to do harm. Unfortunately our fucking world has come to this. Another point would be to make sure the respondent is in their district.

But, if you want to ask a question, you still need a place to have the answer go and that is traceable. What is the difference? I have asked mine and had honest responses....Herrera is against...and other issues, voting against her. Not too pleased with other choices, but have to ask them their position.

So, one way or another, unless you speak to them face to face, you will have to identify yourself in some form.

Well, you did answer one question, and it was what I would have expected.

I have an e-mail set up for just that purpose. Anonymous use for legal purposes. They can trace it into the black hole!!!

The reason that management decided to do away with allowing e-mail addys to be posted was because of what happens to this forum after a rip-off/scam. Many times in the past deals were made and broken and it always rains on everyones parade in here when the deal went bad.

I recall a time when a member whined on how hard his family had it, "Oh, my dog died and my house burned to the ground not to mention it's just before X-mas and I can't afford to get my 12 starving children presents." Of course this is a bit of an exageration but not much!

Well, being a forum of some VERY kind people that were willing to help the checks and money orders went out like gang busters. GUESS WHAT? The son-of-a-bitch was scamming this entire community and damn near every forum in here was a piss fest on how this site should have investigated this person!

This is but one of many rip offs that happened to members here but it was the worst. You send your e-mail out and it's going out to ALL the public including rip-offs, scammers, and dudly doo right!

Like it or not, these are the rules "for now". Now with that being said I'll propose this to ALL the members in here:

IF you want to contact somebody and they also want to be contacted, both parties can send me this request including their member names. I WILL send the e-mail info to the other party when they approve but a warning to all also; you get ripped off in any fashion and bring it back to this site I'll ban both your asses for life!

As for the address and zip code I don't know where that comes from except for dispensorys advertising here. In order for co-ops/dispensories to advertise their goods they MUST post an address and phone# to their business. This is the ONLY exception to the e-mail rule.

    Have a good one!

People always bitch about the e-mail situation here and that was my response to that. Going overboard, hell no! People with that opinion have never had to clean up the mess in here that follows a scam or rip-off.

    Have a good one!

politicians are legally required to provide contact info, which usually includes emails altho their assistants are the ones who actually read them. once a year your local paper will post pics and contact info for all your reps and what not. search around on google you should be able to find them after weeding through all the links back to their website contact forms

My specific reason was asking a pols position without giving them anything they could use to report me to LEO. We have come to where we can't trust hardly any one when you actually come out of the closet as a medical marijuana patient. And, even if they profess it was in jest, there have been some on here that stated they would turn medical patients in just to test their authorizations validity. Proves some people shouldn't use cannabis even for medical reasons.
