Booze a GREAT alternative to Pot...

Since I am in France, and I have no connection to weed, I have been drinking a lot more than usual. My dad has a full liquor cabinet that is full of booze he never even touches, so why not raid it every once in a while? I have found that when I have no weed, booze is great! Yeah, I feel like a tool drinking by myself, but then I remind myself that I smoke by myself sometimes too. Getting drunk and then playing videogames or listning to music is almost as good as being high and doing the same (Except I am better at Gran Turismo 4 when I am wasted rather than being high.) So what I am trying to say is if you don't have any weed, check out the good old sauce, you'll have a hell of a good time!

I find a weed high is a better, funner experience personally. Both are good, but weed is better. But yeah, man, if you're dry on pot but not booze it's a fine substitute. Can't drive very well though. I love driving high listening to music.

i really dont like to drink that much. id rather smoke. with drinking, its not a fun expirience really cuz its tastes horrible, but with weed u can just chill out and smoke, and its pleasurable

One of the main reasons I tried smoking was because I found out at an early age that drinking wasn't my thing.

i uesd to hate drinking but i love the feeling of alcohol...it is the oly thing that can relieve my depression sometimes...i love the parilization of THC in high doses and i love the chilled feeling alcohol gives you

i wouldnt say its an alternative to smoking pot, but id be in ur same shoes if i were in france without grass and with a shitload of booze. but i advice u to go out someday and leave the drinking frenzy to look for some nice moroccan hash im sure u'll find some

Damn man, I like the drink too, but an alternative to smoke? Either alc. doesn't do for me what it does for you, or weed doesn't do for you what it does for me, because there is NO comparison.

Alcohol is (for me) a great feeling, but it is all numb. It's a depressant, so it makes you feel better by making you feel less. Weed is of it's own category- it can act as a depressant, a stimulant, etc, depending on your state of mind.

You mentioned playing video games. How does your performance compare sober vs. being high? Probably just as good, if not better, high. But get drunk, and see if impaired coordination, reaction time, and judgement decrease performance.

I have on more than one occassion vowed never to drink again, but have never made a similar statement about weed following a night of smoking. And I have never beat my wife and kids on weed alone.

Also, I can smoke without drinking, but if I drink, I AM going for smoke (one way or another).
