    in dire need of help!!!

hello everyone, very new to this site and not sure what to expect so here goes. i am a recently retired motocross rider, due to injury. last time i rode was at a sandy track, and on the backside straightaway there are huge whoops, im talkin supercross whoops. this is the fastest section of the track, or if ur scared the slowest section of the track. i have been riding this track the past 6 years and suffered only a few broken bones. anyway, the last day i rode i was throw over the handlebars at around 70mph. ended up in the hospital with a crush fracture to the L1 vertibrae. the doctors said it looked like a grenade went off just in that vertibrae which i am very thankful for. the fracture left 2 small pieces of bone and one half inch by half inch piece of bone lodged in my spinal cord. right after i hit the ground i made sure my legs still worked and was able to stand. went through a very invasive surgery to repair this broken disc, the doctors literally opened me up like they would a heart patient, except they opened my ribs starting about 2 inches above my hip bone going up the ribs all the way to the shoulder blade. not trying to make excuses for this or that but everything is in Gods hands. i should have died that day or even worse end up with no use of my legs. the surgery was over a month ago, this is the worst pain ever! ive takin every type of pain killer out there and nothiing touches this pain like some good grade.

im simply asking for some help to find a doctor to get my medical card, if anyone could help i would greatly appreciate it.

A member here,Coolslayer, had a thread that I believe would have been of significant benefit to you. Unfortunately it appears to have been deleted.

I myself have no experience with your situation but stick around, many members do and I believe that you will be pointed in the right direction.

    Welcome to the forum Bud.
