accidentally smoking glass
Probably because its a resinous tar like substance,as most of us know its the unburnt plant matter and what not that collects up in there. Its the worst stuff any smoker could ever do for their lungs.

Two years I'd say. As you're guessing there was a MOUND of resin to be scraped, could last for days. But, per usual, I smashed the bowl into smaller pieces to scrape. Usually this isn't a problem but there are tiny pieces of glass abound. I got most out, but assuming I smoke some glass shards on accident, how much damage could it do to me? The obvious way to smoke is through a bong so that any shards that I pull thru hit the water instead Rating: 5

I don't think the resin will release the glass until spent to ash,,, but resin usually balls up when spent...

True but why take the chance? If someone is that desperate they probably shouldnt smoke in the first place.

Desperate or not, if you know that you could relieve suffering by smoking a little resin, then you have to do it or suffer.
I don't smoke "tar-ry" resin, but, I smoke out of steamroller, with a one-hitter bowl and no screen, so I scrape the steamroller "droppings" before they get resinated, and smoke them, when I'm out of green.
