    A couple of questions

I am new to the forum and love it, you guys really have a great deal of worthwhile advice, however there is a couple questions I couldn't answer with the search function.

I have two females, about 2.5 to 3 ft tall ( can upload pic later) but I feel they might be a bit lanky. I see all these pics of plants bushy as anything but mine aren't quite like that, do you think they will fill out? It gets direct sunlight from the moment the sun rises to about mid day (tree next to it) and then the 2nd half of the day the light filters through a bit, could that be why it isn't too bushy yet? Will it continue to develope new growth through flowering ?(which I think just started)

And is hanging buds on a string in a hot attic an ok idea? I need to dry it before college lol. It has plenty of ventilation and for lack of moisture I think rot won't be a problem, but tempature might.

Lanky plants are usualy caused by light starvation. Plant in the shade you get lanky plants. They will yield less than a plant grown in full sun. Outside chance they may be strain related but I doubt it.

Yes you can dry it in he attic in an emergency situation. But, you gotta check it often, it will lose potency. and you run a good chance of crisping it. Not recomended.

I don't know if I would call it light starved, it still gets 8 hours direct and the rest filtered. And I also tried to learn what exactly an auto flower is, but search proved unhelpful.

    A couple of questions

alot of people LST(low stress train) thier plants which will produce alot of side growth which in most cases in the reason why ppl have very very bushy plants. i have the same thing my plants are tall and lanky but tey have full sun allday mine are at 4 feet and alrdy starting to flower ( acctualy 3 weeks into flower). Like he said it could be strain related also but more or less beacuse of the LST.

Autoflower is a cross beteween Northern lights and Canabis Rudereles. Plants are pre-programed to bud after a certan amount of time. NOT Photoperiod. They can be given 24 hour light and 3 weeks to a month. Bang. They Bud.

In the growing tip of a plant is the apical maristem. A hormone called auxin is produced there. Auxin retards branch development. Nip the tip and the plant will branch. Also long periods in full sunlight degrade auxin. So that is another way to get a plant to branch naturaly,

In ideal conditions 12 + hours of sun your plant will grow bigget , faster and with a lot of branches, Your plant is getting 2/3rds of the light it needs. So you get 2/3rd of the growth you need. Simple,
