Thanks, just read and listed to what guys said to do and not to do. Some of the plants are thick and some are medium to maybe light, next grow hope to be more thick like # 1 pic above

I will post over all (dry) weight and also I kept track of what it cost me from start to finish, figure that might be good to pass on as well.

    1st ebb/flow grow

OK so I have very limited space for hanging and drying 12 plants so I bought this net/hanger for my first 5 plants I had to cut down. Don't bust my balls too much for the hanging net, had no choice but t go this way. Based on what net system you see, what's your opinion on how long I should let these clippings/buds dry out for??

BTW, do you let clippings dry out before you throw them in the freezer if you are going to make hash?

What are the opinions are the hand/spin trimmers like this Spin Pro Trimmer?
I was thinking of getting one for time savings BUT do they do more damage than good?

Spin Pro Trimmer Trimpro spinpro Hydroponics scissor - eBay (item 200519114933 end time Oct-12-10 19:09:03 PDT)

Just do not want to drop $500 if its just going to damage buds vs hand trimming. Just curious how other guys are trimming grows in the 1 lb to 2 lb range.

    1st ebb/flow grow

We just bought one of those just before doing the nasement and holy shit what a time saver! Took about 1/4 the time as hand trimming. Ours came with the single straight wire cutter and also a quad wire cutter. We put 2 of the quad cutters on, crank that sucker about 20-25 times and your done. Only problem is depending on how much you have to do your arm gonna get tired of cranking. They do sell an electric motor for certain models or can buy one that already has a motor. Needless to say I will be buying a motor.

    1st ebb/flow grow

Thanks, I think for this grow I will just suck it up and spend a lot of time hand trimming while watching football over the weekend. Next round going to buy something that saves time, figure do it this way for now and live/learn what it takes.

    1st ebb/flow grow

Well I am neck deep in hand trimming and trying to do it right the first time so I do not have to go back over them. Read on this forum someplace where someone said that hand trimming is about 1 hour per 1 ounce and I would say that is not that far off..... Hand trimming takes time!!

    1st ebb/flow grow

Well I thought I would just post my final overall results from my first grow, things are are trimmed up and have cured and I ended up with 27.5 oz for 12 plants with 600 and 400 watt lamps covering the 12 plants. I spent right at $1600 during this grow for electric/nutes/water/misc....that figure DOES NOT include my cost for lights and my Ebb/flow system.

Thanks to all the guys that helped me on my first grow, big thanks to Tiny for all the insight. My second grow is 3 weeks in (veg).
