    1st ebb/flow grow

OK guys the day has finally come and I hooked everything up and jumping into the deep end of the hydro pool so to speak. I appreciate info from those that have help to this point. Not sure how it will work out but here goes.

    Specs of my grow:

    1) 12 plants in my ebb / flow setup. 8 Super Lemon Haze and 4 OG Kush. All FEM plants
    2) 600 watt (400 watt and two 90 watt LED's for later)
    3) Grow tent 6x6x6
    4) RO water and trying to keep it in the 5.6 to 5.9 PH range. PPM right now at 630
    5) Temp in 75 to 80 range and humidity in 55% to 60%
    6) Seedlings...still young but had to go with them

I will post new pics/update each week. Thanks again for help that got me to this point.

I can tell ya how it will work out. I see lots of green in your future but be carefull in the beginning and don't burn them with nutes. I see your temps needing to come down a little but you will over come it. I see you have a very bright future with those lights.

    One word- HUMBLE

You will do very well and the first thing you want to do is brag to your friends.

    DON'T SHOW ANYONE.

It will only bring you trouble.

You will be love by all who taste your meds. They sound good must put on list.

I'm here to see how it turns out.

Thanks guy, you both have been big help.

Yep I will keep an eye on the temp, front of tent is open and will stay that way and door is open in the bedroom. Right now with 600 watt (MH) I am running at 78 degrees. What is my MAX temp?

I don't see a scrubber. I see stanky smells in your future. Seriously, it will begin to get much much worse. Don't be caught off guard on the smell. Go to work one day, all smells fine and sweet, come home and your entire house smells like pot. Scrub the air

Thanks and I have been thinking about that with the number of plants I have going. Right now I have a decent fan going and outlet up into my attic, the fan pulls air pretty good but will see how smells go.

Based on layout you see, what's a good scrubber you recommend? Thanks for input.

bah...go to home depot, find a good hepa filter that claims to work for odor. likely it will have a good amount of carbon in it which is what scrubs air as best as possible these days. Figure a way to stuff it into a pipe...who knows. I know there are plenty of DIY suggestions on how to use commercially available ac filters. This business of needing "specialized" marijuana growing tools is for the birds.

For now figure a way to attach the filter to your exhaust. Suck in from with in the room and out into the attic as close as possible to a vent through the roof. That way the smells dont hang around too long up their either.

You may find the tent can be cooled further but installing another 6" line to the other side of the light hood. Sometimes it just doesnt work in terms of ac and ventilation to suck through the hood and out the room. Sometimes it works much better to install a separate line from outside the room, located somewhere cool, and then feed that to the intake side of the hood. Play around with it, find what works. Keep in mind that there are usually 4 seasons to every year. Temperatures change about every 4 months.

Thanks for the detailed info, sounds like I have some odor control work to do. I will work on getting a filter system setup, thanks again.

If your gonna try a Hepa filter, you can pick up a package of carbon fiber sheets from Walmart and wrap around filter. Last I knew it ran about $10. Depending on filter size you should be able to do atleast a couple 6" dia filters

1 week in and still on 1/2 nutes and 600 watt MH light and 24/7. Trying to keep PH in the 5.8 range but PH is still moving around just a bit. So far temp has been under control.
