Nope it would not. If your sample GC'd at 27 ng/ml, then your sample wouldve registered higher than 50 ng on the Immunoassay screen. How much higher would not be known since Immunoassays lack the ability to yield a quantitative value. I/As are entirely a "pass/fail" endeavor.

The 50 ng I/A screen is functionally equivalent to the 15 ng GC/MS. Their cutoffs are numerically different because the I/A recognizes the composite of all 31 metabolite concentrations while the GC/MS only recognizes the most prevalent metabolite concentration: THC-COOH. For a little explanation, read post #6 in this thread: http://boards.cannabis.com/drug-test...ting-info.html

I did have two lines as mentioned earlier but the THC was lighter than the others. Will this cause additional testing beyond the 5 panel?
Why would it? A "5 panel" simply means that they are testing for 5 types of drugs.

A faint line in the "T" region is still a negative. Even if an untrained tech were to misinterpret a faint line as a "positive" and sent the sample to the GC/MS for confirmation, the sample would still come back as a negative.
