This is my 2nd grow, my first was last year, where i merely lurked in these forums for advice. I grew misc bagseed and got a fair harvest, but I do not grow to give me enough of a stockpile to last a whole year or anything like that. I just enjoy the growing!

This year I decided to post a journal of my Lowryder 2 grow. I acquired 3 seeds, wrapped them in a damp paper towel, put them in a sandwich bag and into an old box. After 24 hours the first seed had cracked. Unfortunately, the others 2 did not open. After a few days i put the uncracked seeds into a jar of water until they sank.

I planted the seeds in peat pots with compost from my compost heap, and left them to do their magic.

The bad news is that only the original seed actually grew at all So I only have one plant to look after. The photos were taken this morning, 12 days after planting. Yesterday, the peat pot was showing signs of becoming root bound (roots were starting to grow through the pot itself), so I upgraded to the plants final home, my big green tub!

I am using a mixture of my own compost, and some store bought miracle grow soil. The PH was running a little high, so watered with a small amount of vinegar to bring it down to around 6.5 before I shifted my baby across.

How do you all think she looks? Im feeling quite optimistic about this one!
