You shouldn't have an algae problem period from start to finish the way your doing it. Just make sure res is light proof and if you can get some either black (preferably) or blue air line for your airstones as this is a good prevention measure against alge also.

I glad I logged on when I did, thats how we lost our first batch. Didnt know the lil buggers were starving for light until I sat down and spent couple hours reading, but I still can't believe noone said anything before me. I guess times change and so dont the people who hang out in forums lol.
