Aero vs Slabs.
I've grown in slabs for 3 crops and I've always flowered my clones at about 12"-18" but at the end of the grow the slabs are never full of roots like they would be if it were a longer grow. I'm thinking it might be worth switching to aero if it actually does grow faster... is this true? will the buds mature faster in aero or am I still looking at 12-14 weeks?

Aero may mature a little bit faster, but I don't think it is really worth switching over. All you need is a power outage, or a plugged jet(s), and your whole crop will be dead. If it happens when you go to bed, by morning your crop is lost. However, I think you should be able harvest your plants after about 8 weeks of flowering.
