satan in heaven?
Satan is a figment of your imagination. Christians call "Satan" every instinctual animal impulse that we have. Most of all, Satan is the ultimate scapegoat.
God did not literally cast down one of his angels. How can you literally believe stories that are meant to be understood metaphorically, mythologically?
The metaphor is that God stands for our sense of reason, our intellect, our constructive impulses, our ability to transcend physicality. Satan, like I said above, is our animal instincts, our destructive impulses. When the Bible says that God cast out Satan, it really means that he cast out our animal side, our basic instincts and made us superior to other living things on Earth.
Basically, it sums up ike this:
God = intellect, reason, thought, potential
Satan = instinct, impulse, action without thought
For God's sake, think about what you read, don't take everything literally. To read the Bible in a literal sense, that is the ultimate blasphemy.
