Yellow Spores / Fungus
From the looks of it, seems like it is slime mold. It is not exactly good for the plant but it also should not harm it (if that is what it is). It is more commonly known as Dog Vomit Fungus. It could also be the start of a mushroom bed haha, if there is mycelium those could be fungi starting to sprout (too early to tell)
If you are gung-ho on getting rid of it and I recommend doing this, and if it is something else, get yourself some household cinnamon and put it on there, it will kill the fungus without causing any damage to your plant. Cinnamon works wonders at getting rid of fungus. Just plain ol cinnamon, not cinnamon toast crunch. Just cinnamon.
Let us know how it goes
