I have a beautiful female in my backyard. I want to continue the genetics into my indoor room, by cloning the plant and creating a mother for future indoor and outdoor generations. Is this possible? I'm concerned I might bring in outdoor pests into my sterile indoor enviroment. Any thoughts or suggestions to make this work?

I have never grown outdoors so I also need to know when I should cut the clone. Do I need to do so before the plant is in full bloom? When should I clone the outdoor plant (i live in Seattle and dont know when flowering will begin)? Thanks for any advice.
