According to NORML, large scale dispensary raid in Chico
On their dispensary listing page, it says in a footer that all Chico area dispensaries were hit yesterday, 8 in total. I really wish Mike Ramsey would just retire.

They were selling to people without Rx's, and may have been selling to people under the age of 18.
Ya know - if people that own bars sell a drink to someone that's obviously drunk, if people that own a convenience store sell to someone that's under 21 - and they get caught ... I have NO sympathy for them.
There are rules folks. I'm not saying that all rules should be obeyed - but if you get caught NOT obeying them don't whine about the consequences.
They knew the risk, they knew the reward and they rolled the dice. So, now they need to take some of that "reward" and hire a good lawyer. Too bad, so sad.
ok?.

How many times have you seen the cops exaggerate and outright lie? If they are moving their lips its a good bet they are twisting something to their benefit.
I read the news links and it said they were selling to anyone, I've never been to a dispensary like that in all my years in Cali so I really doubt it's true. If it was true why not just sell weed on the street corner?
I also read it was at the behest of the county DA. It's another example of right wingers in the Central Valley not listening to the will of the people and illegally adding their input into a process they don't like.Voting GOP this year is like giving the keys back to the drunk driver that wrecked the economy when they show no remorse for their actions and haven\'t even sobered up yet.

that the cops that investigated these clubs, the cops that went undercover to make the buys, the detectives that supervised it, the assistant District Attorney's, and the DA all got together over a cold beer and cooked up a conspiracy.
Yup, it's possible.
There are the same percentage of bad cops as there are bad people (since the pool of cops are chosen from ... people).
We'll see how it plays out. That's what courts are for - that's what a jury is for.
I wonder if it is the same group of 'bad cops' that do alcolhol buy stings. I have a friend who owns a bar - - I should warn him that the cops may send someone in that's underage in an attempt to buy, and even if he doesn't sell to them, they may lie on him and say he did..

I went to fight a speeding ticket in Calaveras County and the person who was going to be my lawyer, the DA, and the Judge were all standing there shooting the shit talking about how they were all going to go play golf later.
I plead guilty.
Are you from the Central Valley? Have you read what all what various counties did to stop legal medical prop 215 MJ all over the place and are still doing it in spite of losing at the Supreme Court level? tt isn't real money to these folks they are spending in court to try to bust/convict people and they are locking up folks when they can't get a good lawyer.
Read this before you apologize for the cops and DA in that county.

I'm sorry, I thought we were talking about the law. Karma - hoooo kay.
If the DA and his thugs broke the law, there is remedy in the law. Is that being addressed?.
