Why are you so worried about a faint line on your home test? Faint lines using the first void of the day are as good as passing a lab test. Synthetic is manufactured to be reheated as many times as possible. This way you can practice as much as you want. Test yourself with the first void of the day and if you pass(faint line or solid) you will be fine to pass the lab test.
