MMC delivery services ?'s
Will MMC's be able to deliver meds to patients that are home bound after HB1284? I thought I remembered them saying that delivery services wouldn't be allowed but maybe that was only for the ones that didn't have an MMC license.
Thanks,

There is a provision in the bill that allows for a qualifying patient to apply to the CDPHE for a waiver that then allows a mmc representative to deliver medication to that patient. A center doing deliveries to a patient without said waiver is illegal under 1284.

Why? Before this bill there was no provision for delivering medicine, and delivery drivers had no legal protection. Now homebound patients can get medicine in their homes without breaking the law or putting the driver at risk of arrest and imprisonment.
