I'll ask the question first; Should I harvest early?

My plant is in full bloom right now, and putting on lots of weight, but still has potential to get a lot bigger. Trichomes are still pretty clear, and they are piled on every inch of the plant. I got anxious to try it out, so I cut off a small bud last week, let it dry out a bit and smoked it yesterday...it made me feel sooo dumb. Like drooling and stuttering dumb.

It wasn't the high I was hoping for. should I chop it now? I'm worried that the longer I let it go, and the longer the trichomes mature, the heavier the high will be...and ironically, I don't want that. It's heavy enough as it is.

Enlighten me, please please! Majority rules. My plant's fate is in this boards' hands, lol.

Sounds to me that you have a sativa. Lots of people find that weed is to potent to be social with others around! Find a strain you are comfortable smoking as well as being around people when you have smoked your crop.

I have Big Bud at the moment and that would be a good strain for you! It's not a full body high that stops functions such as swallowing that drool! hehe..:thumbsup:

If you don't want that fire ass weed,you can send all of it to me! I love to drool!

See, normally I'm a sativa type of person. I got some amnesia haze from the dispensary, and I like that. I just have this plant that I don't know what to do with now. It's a Jack Herer, and beautiful as hell. This was supposed to be strictly for personal use. Now it's just eye candy, lol.

I'll tell ya this...... Jack takes about 12 to 14 weeks to mature. I've grown and smoked Jack ALOT! Miss him and the strain. I'll get it back again!!

Going on week 5 in flowering. I know this strain takes longer than normal to flower, but I couldn't resist sampling it. The buds on it are huge!

well you could take "baby-lung" hits and not get as high as normal haha.

seriously dont cut it, you will regret not letting it finish in the long run. if you think your buds are huge now let it finish!
