Once topped, the plant will be forced to grow bushier. Until then, its going to stretch. Yes the pots do have drain holes. The drainage of them is pretty good. Each trunk of my girls is half an inch thick. The little puter fan i have for them seems to be giving them enough exercise so i guess we will just have to wait and see how they grow, won't we.
