Quickfix 5.7 used for UA at Quest

Hey,

So everyone on these forums has been very helpful with their posts, so I thought i would post my story to maybe help out prospective QF users.

So the day of my test I microwaved the QF, shook it after, attached the hand warmer and tucked it under my jewels. Then traveleed for about an hour to go get the test done, which was hot as hell haha.

Went in, poured the QF into the cup but the temperature was >100 F so I blew at the cup and swirled it a little until it got down to 96 and handed it to the lady and she checked off the temp, now all i have to do is wait for the results.

Just some questions:

Does it matter if i shake the bottle right before i pour it in?
How long do they usually contact you within if your positive?(cause i know they dont alert you if your negative)
Does anyone know if QF works specifically in NYC Quest labs, because i know it doesnt 100% of the time in oregon.

Feel free to post your experiences if you test in NYC for quest (or anywhere else)

I will also make sure to update you guys when i pass hope im in the sub club next week

My post on another forum: So, I tested at Quest with Quick Fix. temp was good at 98f and the product was fresh.
I waited, and waited. On the 10th day the Medical Review Officer (MCO) contacted me and asked what meds I am on. He said that although nothing was showing positive, there still was something amiss with the test. Although I knew there would be no bearing, I do happen to be on several medications and other OTC drugs. I listed them all to the Dr. (be careful, I have been told they can ask for prescript. numbers and double check). The Dr. said he would let the employer know the test was OK.
The employer contacted me 17 days after the test and asked what meds I was on because the test came back "inconclusive". After some ado, the employer has approved the drug screen- however this was very scary and a very long wait. I used quick fix in 06 and there were no problems.
I let Spectrum Labs (the manufacturer) know via e-mail that they need to get their lab folks up-to-date on what Quest is doing. Most other employers would ask for a re-test and could ask to be present when the donor is urinating...

Just wanted to let everyone know that I passed! today I got my official clearance to begin work. It really is true, as long as you get the temperature right your golden! I thought i would give back to this forum by posting my success story. Thanks again gurus of drug testing!
